This bush in my yard finally decided to bloom letting me know for sure, as I suspected, that it is a crape myrtle. I have always liked them and this one is a nice color. Ziva even consented to sit in front of it and let me take her photo. In a different photo you can see the bush sits behind the house and I can see it from the kitchen window. The other flowers are roses and gladiolas.
