One of the main reasons we went to Petersburg, WV at this time was so my husband Lee could go to his 50th high school reunion. There was not quite 200 that did graduate in June of 1967, and I was surprised and glad to see that 48 made it to the reunion. There was a handful that sent messages and said they couldn't come for one reason or another. Lee ended up on the left hand side on the end. He has the blue shirt on. In the second photo he is in the back about the middle. The only other 2 I can name is the gentlemen in the white shirt kneeling in the front of the second photo, Leon, and in the third photo Rodger is the man in the bright pinkesh-purple shirt sitting down in the middle of the front row. The last 2 photos show the Petersburg High School band. The 1967 class had decided to do something for their high school and took up donations to help the band buy new band uniforms which I understood they were in desperate need of. They wanted to raise enough money to buy at least one uniform and after the great performance of the band by such a small band there was enough raised to buy six uniforms. The band did a great job in playing some old songs from the late 1960's. The reunion was held at the North Fork Ruritan Club Hall near Petersburg. There was the beautiful hillside just across the highway from the club Hall making a great background for the photos.
